The BlakTinx Dance Festival is a celebration of Black and Latinx choreographers based in Phoenix, showcasing a dynamic array of dance works that are exciting, dramatic, fun, challenging, loving, and joyous. This year's festival features performances by Steven Redondo, Juls Tarango, Rayshawn Watkins, Angela Bass, Emani “Lotus” Spencer, Juan Carlos García Gutiérrez, Ali Adelis, and Justin Moore.

We are thrilled to welcome special guests from our sister festival in Los Angeles: Primera Generación Dance Collective, a four-person Latine ensemble that brings Latine corporeality, joy, and loss to the stage through movement, and Stephen and Aisha, a duo that mixes contemporary and hip hop. Additionally, this year we have the honor of featuring the legendary b-boy Edson “House” Magaña as our special AZ invited guest. This show is not to be missed!

Don't miss your chance to experience this unforgettable event with three performances: Friday at 7pm, Saturday at 2pm (followed by a Q&A with the artists), and Saturday at 7pm. The BlakTinx Dance Festival sells out every year, so secure your tickets soon!
